Apple goes after Galaxy S3, Note in new court filing

Apple goes nexus 4 bumper case after Galaxy S3, Note in new court filing Coming off its big victory in its patent suit against Samsung with a Northern California court, Apple has filed an amended complaint with a similar court inside of a separate case -- adding the Galaxy S3 andGalaxy Note towards the report on Samsung devices it says infringe its intellectual property.

As reported by Apple Insider, the filing came to be earlier today and involves a complaint first earned in February that charged 17 Samsung devices with violating utility patents owned by Apple.

In regards to that complaint -- again, it's outside of the headline-grabbing case that began in April 2011 and long been last Friday by having an overwhelming win for Nexus 4 Leather Case Apple -- the iPhone andiPad maker sought a sales ban on Samsung'sGalaxy Nexus smartphone. The San Jose, Calif., court how the complaint was filed granted the ban, but it really is often temporarily lifted while it's on appeal before a court in Washington, D.C.

Apple also sought a ban at the Galaxy S3 planned to attend classes June, but that effort was dress yourself in hold due to a packed court schedule.

In the amended complaint filed today, Apple says "infringing Samsung products range from the as much as 21 new smartphones, media players, and tablets that Samsung has released beginning in August 2011 and continuing through August 2012" and also it lists the Galaxy S3, the Galaxy S3 -- Verizon, and then the Galaxy Note smartphones, together with the Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet, among other products.

Apple would no question prefer place the kibosh located on the Galaxy S3, which has enjoyed Nexus 4 Hard Case brisk sales and they have, in keeping with analysts, helped increase Samsung's lead over Apple inside two companies' smartphone sales competition. The Note is doing OK too, if numbers released by Samsung are any indication.
